The REACH Advantage: Global Travel Partners

REACH Meetings & Events is blessed to work with our global team of partners on several continents around the world.  These partnerships strengthen our breadth and capabilities no matter where we're executing meetings.  We've had an excellent opportunity to leverage one of these partners recently in Sydney.

With any meeting or event where some attendees are not local, we run the risk of having travel issues.  Leading into an Investigator Meeting with 40 Healthcare Providers in Sydney, in August; we had been working for a Biosciences firm out of the Bay Area.  More than half of the attendees were traveling into Sydney for the meeting.  While all of our attendees traveled without issue, myself and one other REACH team member were delayed overnight twice in Los Angeles.  Being faced with yet another delay, we opted to change airlines and fly from Los Angeles to Sydney with a stop in Honolulu.

While we had planned to come in two days prior to the event, the delays had now eaten up that cushion time and we would be in flight while the registration opened for early arrivals and VIPs.  While we sent one of our team members on a direct flight to Sydney with the meeting materials, we were in a place where we would not have the staff onsite that was needed.

Due to our network of global partners, I was able to text one contact while boarding my flight to Sydney, arrange for extra staff to be onsite in just a handful of hours all with a text confirmation.  When we arrived in Sydney (without luggage), all staff was in place and registration was open and flowing smoothly.  There are few companies who could have overcome this obstacle.  We proudly represent our clients, leveraging our global resources, to insure we can execute exemplary outcomes nearly anywhere around the world at very short notice.

A special thank you to Ovation Sydney for being an amazing partner and our boots on the ground!
